Hello -

You are receiving this email because you are the lead organizer on a session proposal for the 2022 July ESIP Meeting<https://gcc02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2F2022esipjulymeeting.sched.com%2F&data=05%7C01%7Cmlangseth%40usgs.gov%7C046e8ce6b3a54e54038308da2ecd5583%7C0693b5ba4b184d7b9341f32f400a5494%7C0%7C0%7C637873756682042101%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C3000%7C%7C%7C&sdata=w6m2D8yL%2Bpn4bT6Pa829hcdmZaBJ74jMg%2ByaglTfz5Y%3D&reserved=0>. Thank you for your contribution and congratulations - your session has been accepted! You should share the news with your fellow organizers and speakers.

We are committed to helping you think through your sessions and hope that you will take advantage of the opportunity to work with our session facilitation expert, Charley Haley, who will be helping us plan the best in-person sessions possible that also include our virtual colleagues.

Here is a DRAFT schedule for you to COMMENT ON (using the 'insert comment' feature in the Google spreadsheet) if you think you have a conflict to be resolved:

NOTE: Conflicts involving a double-booked speaker or session lead will be considered the highest priority to resolve. We will do our best to resolve conflicts, but we also remind you that all sessions will be recorded and accessible shortly after they take place. All comments must be received by 11:59 pm PT on Wednesday May 11, 2022.

As you review the agenda, please note any sessions that seem similar in scope to your own and consider reaching out to those session leads to coordinate content across your sessions to make sure you are not duplicating efforts. If you would like any help in making these connections, let me know.

Please remember to register<https://gcc02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2F2022esipjulymeeting.sched.com%2Finfo&data=05%7C01%7Cmlangseth%40usgs.gov%7C046e8ce6b3a54e54038308da2ecd5583%7C0693b5ba4b184d7b9341f32f400a5494%7C0%7C0%7C637873756682042101%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C3000%7C%7C%7C&sdata=zW5vNCSMa2%2BTpzHxW5oQ66%2BITjwh8YOxFEbc46tBBK4%3D&reserved=0> and to encourage your session speakers to do so. You may also request 1 complimentary speaker registration for your session for a speaker who has never been to an ESIP Meeting - your complimentary speaker can join in-person or virtually. To request the complimentary registration, session leads should complete this brief form<https://gcc02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fdocs.google.com%2Fforms%2Fd%2Fe%2F1FAIpQLSdU2UOc8s-_w81aHXFcCrFnCIuG21lo501BP0dEm0n8yHxRnA%2Fviewform%3Fusp%3Dsf_link&data=05%7C01%7Cmlangseth%40usgs.gov%7C046e8ce6b3a54e54038308da2ecd5583%7C0693b5ba4b184d7b9341f32f400a5494%7C0%7C0%7C637873756682042101%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C3000%7C%7C%7C&sdata=V%2BSrE1XcVe%2BfhCmvcn0hB306muhSchSqrmj%2BYGORVSs%3D&reserved=0> by June 10, 2022, after which we will review and be in touch.

ESIP staff will periodically send you emails to help you in preparing. Our next communication will share more on our COVID protocols and on what to expect in the room during your session.

Looking forward to being together in person again,

Megan
