Rama, Thank you for suggesting this! For anyone who did not have the opportunity to attend, this was a very useful discussion on research software.

Datacite just posted a link to the recording here:

Dear Colleagues,

Research software are vital outputs of the research endeavour. They are often integral to the generation of research data, and rely heavily on the same technical and social infrastructure to disseminate, cultivate, and coordinate activities. The value of adding PIDs to research software to expose both citation metrics and their interconnections with other research entities is expected to increase researcher buy-in and drive change.

DataCite invites you to join us for a webinar on May 24, 2023, at 7:00 am (UTC) for a webinar in which you will learn about:
    * The importance of research software, and the difficulties faced in ensuring they are a first-class citizen of the research endeavour.
    * How DataCite supports research software, our recommended practices, and projects we are involved in with research software at the forefront.
    * A Zenodo-Github integration highlighting a practical use case of DataCite services for research software.
    * HERMES, a research software publication system currently in use that was developed by a German group including DataCite Members.

Register now and share within your networks:
https://datacite.zoom.us/webinar/register/7216832854481/WN_-K-zNcRIQOmxU3y1v-nEpQ

This webinar will be presented in English and will last 90 minutes, including time for Q&A. The slides and recording will be shared afterwards through the DataCite Zenodo Community (https://zenodo.org/communities/datacite/?page=1&size=20<https://linkprotect.cudasvc.com/url?a=https%3a%2f%2fzenodo.org%2fcommunities%2fdatacite%2f%3fpage%3d1%26size%3d20&c=E,1,DJxgFxLVJ6T9pFS5mJluJ68X6gm4tv0ZPtkbs4jBIV28uNSDENQsFxJRsH9UMKYtTkmwaPq-_5eNVR7AXvtQcpi6ZOOG1DIq_nf6JqAkoNO1Yz1bdjDr&typo=1>) and YouTube Channel (https://www.youtube.com/@DataCiteChannel), respectively.
