would be set and controlled by external research organizations, or groups of

organizations can control and manage recognition options and authorize
individuals.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in;font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">How is Rescognito sustainable and how will continued access
to data be ensured?</p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in;font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Right now, Rescognito is a start-up and funded by me. I have
a track-record of commitment to research workflow and a long-term outlook. As a
service provider, we anticipate that our costs will be covered by customers
using services. Customers are free to export data from Rescognito, and in due
course we plan to store recognition data in a blockchain for persistence.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in;font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Can checklists be driven by metadata – e.g. specific
checklists for software etc.?</p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in;font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Yes, this is on our development path. Services like DataCite
provide a “type” identification in their JSON metadata so the display of
different checklists based on type identification is very feasible. Using the same
methodology, checklists can be configured for DOIs issues by specific
organizations.</p>
