community guidelines for consistently curating and representing dataset quality
information (DQI) in a way that is in line with the FAIR principles, </span> <font face="times new roman, serif">a one-day virtual workshop was held on Monday July 13, 2020, followed by a report-out session on Wednesday July 22, 2020, during the virtual Earth Science Information Partners (ESIP) 2020 Summer Meeting (SM20), July 14 – 24, 2020. </font></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0.0001pt"> <font face="times new roman, serif"><br></font></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0.0001pt"><font face="times new roman, serif">On behalf of the Pre-ESIP Workshop Organizing Committee, I
