<p style="margin:0in"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">My name is Marguerite Lally and I work at the First Street Foundation (FSF). My colleague, Ed Kearns, reached out to Susan Shingledecker about creating DOIs through ESIP and she directed us
to email this mailing list. FSF is a member of ESIP and we are looking to create DOIs. I know we can create DOIs by paying for a DataCite membership but I was wondering if it was possible for us to work through ESIP or ESIP partners to create DOIs. Susan mentioned
that ESIP obtains their DOIs through the ESIP Figshare Repository. I was wondering if we could go directly through Figshare or Zenodo or some other more general repository to create our DOIs.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
