Hi Val, all,

Thanks for all the work! It looks great, so I don't have a lot of feedback:

  * Since Lesley mentioned that you only have 8 minutes I would also suggest to drop some slides (+1 on slide 5, maybe 4 because it is a lot of text).
  * The slides with the large images (6 and 11) are a bit difficult to read.
  * Is there anyone in particular people can contact for any follow up information/questions/how to get involved? Sometimes it can be helpful to have a name/email for this.

Good luck with the presentation!
Esther

HI Val

Looks great - I hope you do not mind I did some poodle fluffing as follows - I could not work out how to do it in edit mode.

1) The list of sample types we are considering in slides 2 and 13 were not consistent, but they are now.

2) I made the Physical Samples cluster bold in slide 4

3) As you only have 8 minutes, I suggest you drop slide 5

4) As you only have 8 minutes, to help increase readability, I put an extra space before each 1st level dot point.

5) I thought we could brighten up some of the slides and I added the ESIP Logo

6) In slide 9 I added a screen shot of the guidelines to show we actually do have something (you can remove it)

7) In Slide 12 I added the ESIP January meeting registration.

Take care

Lesley

The goal of our presentation is awareness for this project (what is it, what does it do, how does it help), emphasizing the community effort. It will also be a good introduction to the group as more broadly. I will be uploading slides to AGU on Thursday, December 8th at 4:00 PM PST. Please submit any feedback to me before then so that I can incorporate it before creating the final version.

Thanks so much!
