Actually I don’t think we were ever talking about speakers for BFO; rather for the OBO Foundry software underpinnings. There are release managers and things like that that may perhaps be repurpose able. I also, think we had talked about experiences in keeping it sustainable.

I agree re upper level ontologies - they need to be harmonized as well (in maybe 100 years).

In any case, if one ontology is speaking, then for fairness, all others such as DOLCE, GFO, UFO, YAMATO, SUMO and Sowa's should speak as well. Therefore, recommend not including speakers.

This email is the first in a series of emails designed to break down the virtual meeting preparation into manageable chunks. Today, my focus will be on Sched, the online schedule tool with the full ESIP Summer Meeting program.

Virtual meetings are a choose your own adventure, where normal work and life happen at the same time. By personalizing your Sched, Sched will send you one email daily with the schedule for the day and that will include all the links you need to access the live content. Note: Time Zone is shown and editable on the right hand side of the Schedule underneath the search box.

Wednesday, Annie Burgess will share a bit more about how we are reimagining FUNding Friday and Research Showcase. Thursday we will be holding a live ESIP 101 at 12pm ET (mark your calendar). Finally, Friday, Megan will send you the full 'Know Before You Go' email that includes all these details wrapped into a single easy to find place.

This is a quick start 15 min intro that will happen every 15 mins. The idea is that if you drop in to one of these, next week will be a bit smoother (like finding the conference venue the night before the meeting starts).
