FYI, our November meeting will be Tuesday, Nov 27, 4:00 at the Outlook. 
  The agenda:

The info is on the web site.  I'll send a reminder closer to the date.

I have heard some interest in having a venue for dry runs of AGU 
presentations.  If enough people are interested, I think we could 
arrange a separate meeting to make that happen.  Scheduling could be a 
challenge with only three weeks to go, a holiday, and my travel 
intervening.  But, I'm willing to try.  If you are interested in 
presenting a dry run of your AGU presentation, either talk or poster, 
let me know.  If at least two people respond that would give us at least 
three presenters, which would provide enough momentum for me to try and 
find a date and location.

Come to think of it, we could try to arrange a meeting for this purpose 
in San Francisco on the Sunday evening before the conference.  I would 
think we could find some place to meet.  Let me know if this idea 
appeals to you.

We won't be having a Boulder meeting in December.  But we will have our 
2nd Annual BESSIG and Friends AGU Yank Sing Dim Sum Lunch in San 
Francisco some time that first week in December.  Stay tuned for a date 
to be announced.
