[Bessig] Open Access panel and VIVO conference in Denver next week

Hi all,

Wanted to let you all know about a couple of events in Denver next week:


1.       Digital Science is hosting a panel discussion on Open Access next Tuesday from 6:30 to 9:00pm at the Marriott City Center. Registration is free and there will be some snacks and drinks. More info and RSVP online at https://www.digital-science.com/events/digital-science-spotlight-open/

2.       The 7th Annual VIVO conference is being held in Denver this year with workshops on Wednesday and two days of conference after that. VIVO is an open source semantic web platform that enables scholarly discovery through interlinked profiles of people and other research-related information. There are local teams attending and presenting from CU Boulder, LASP, NCAR/UCAR and UNAVCO. Possible to register for workshops or conference online or on site, or you can follow the event at #vivo16.
