LASP colleagues,
The Boulder Public Library is accepting applications to a unique, multidisciplinary exhibition called “Critical Thinking & the Art of Science,” which will attempt to address the importance of the scientific method in our culture. As a starting point to a potentially deeper conversation and collaboration, participating scientists, engineers, and researchers will develop statements related to their field of expertise, then participating artists will select one or more of these statements and develop a work of art in response.

This is a community outreach project that aims to cultivate communication between artists and the scientific community and to provide a forum to recognize evidence-based information. In addition to the exhibition, there will be a “Critical Thinking Summit” in November.
