If you are interested in gaining skills at the intersection of earth and data science, consider the Earth Data Analytics - Foundations<https://earthlab.colorado.edu/earth-data-analytics-professional-graduate-certificate?utm_source=listserv&utm_medium=listserv&utm_campaign=certificate-2022&utm_id=certificate-2022> in Python professional graduate certificate from the University of Colorado, Boulder. This program is aimed at working professionals and can be completed entirely online over ten months from August through June. Apply by August 8th, 2022 to begin the program in Fall 2022 semester.
This three-course, nine-credit certificate is aimed at working professionals who are new to programming and working with data, or to scientific applications of data science. When you complete the program, you will have fundamental scientific programming and data science skills, an understanding of Git and GitHub for version control, science communication and collaboration skills and the ability to work with a suite of earth and environment data. These are the in-market demand skills required to work in the rapidly growing field of earth data science. These skills will prepare you to launch or advance a career as an environmental data scientist, data analyst, GIS/geospatial analyst, remote sensing scientist, or product manager, among others.
