Hi all,
NASA is conducting a workshop of all of it’s science data repositories in Boulder 27-29 Septembe <https://science.data.nasa.gov/news/events-fair-for-nasa-data/>r. The theme is making NASA Data FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable). Because it is users (be they humans or machines) who ultimately decide if data are FAIR, we want to hear some user stories — the successes and travails folks have finding, accessing, and using NASA Data.
The workshop is free and open and y’all are welcome to attend, but I’m especially looking for NASA (earth science) data users who have good stories to tell. We’re especially interested in early career folk and/or computationally savvy folks (esp. cloud users). Were thinking a series of short talks from different disciplinary perspectives and then a panel discussion. The user session would be Wed. afternoon, 28 Sept.
If you have suggestions, including yourself, please contact me directly.
All may register <https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSefgPyu7cC6fyekrJmD-p_5BkyxY9ozBpmcQLGG12qZ_SDDYw/viewform> (registration will stay open a week or two after the deadline)
cheers,
-m.
