Dear Colleagues, Friends,

I'm pleased to share that *Feeding a Hungry Planet: Agriculture,
Nutrition and Sustainability
<https://courses.sdgacademy.org/learn/feeding-a-hungry-planet-agriculture-nutrition-and-sustainability-april-2018>* –
the *FREE*, massive open online course from the SDG Academy that I
helped develop last year – is relaunching on *April 16*! I would greatly
appreciate your support in sharing the course information with your
colleagues and broader networks.

If you're not familiar with this course, it covers the role of
agricultural and food systems in the ambitious yet imperative goal of
feeding our growing world population a healthy diet. I and other faculty
members serve as lecturers in short videos and have provided research
and insights that enrollees can read in conjunction with the videos. We
discuss the history of agricultural development, the intersection of
food and agriculture systems with the Sustainable Development Goals,
technological advances in these fields, and much more.

The full list of lecturers are:

  * Achim Dobermann of Rothamsted Research
  * Jessica Fanzo of Johns Hopkins University
  * Ken Giller of Wageningen University
  * Upmanu Lall of Columbia University
  * Michael Lee of Rothamsted Research
  * William Masters of Tufts University
  * Rebecca Nelson of Cornell University
  * Johan Verreth of Wageningen University

Again, your assistance in getting this course into the hands of those
who can most use it, including practitioners, researchers, and emerging
professionals, would be most appreciated. Please check out @SDG_Academy
<https://twitter.com/SDG_Academy?lang=en> on Twitter for an easy
re-tweet, or email Jay Neuner at the SDG Academy (jay.neuner at unsdsn.org
<mailto:jay.neuner at unsdsn.org>) for additional promotional materials.

Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.

Warm regards,

Ken Giller
