Hi,

(1) New wildfire response concept map narrative released

The latest (third) narrative, titled "Tracing how Landsat data is used to
inform burnt acreage in an emergency stabilization Burned Area Emergency
Response BAER for the 2012 High Park Fire in Colorado
<http://wiki.esipfed.org/index.php/Tracing_how_Landsat_data_is_used_to_inform_burnt_acreage_in_an_emergency_stabilization_Burned_Area_Emergency_Response_BAER_for_the_2012_High_Park_Fire_in_Colorado>",
has just been released yesterday. The usual qualifier applies: there
remains parts of the underlying concept maps (pointed to by the high-level
narrative) that are not complete.

This wildfire emergency response narrative is related to the earlier wildfire
mitigation

narrative, and included as part of an invited presentation to the USGS
Community for Data Integration's semantic web working group (USGS CDI SWGG)

(yesterday).

All three narratives (the first was on Chesapeake Bay water quality and
poultry farming

are listed on the ag and climate concept mapping activity wiki

.

(2) Online workshop for remotely sensed ag using European observation
platforms

RDA announced a workshop schdeuled for Tuesday 2020-05-26 for people to
learn about "two major space based programs, Galileo and Copernicus.
Combining the navigation or positioning tools of Galileo and the Earth
observation data and services of Copernicus for improved food security and
