The title of Matthew's talk is "*The emerging Semantic Web and Internet of
Food: New technologies, opportunities, food supply vulnerabilities, and
existential threats to established ag/food hegemonies.*"  Matthew will be
introduced by Paco Nathan (Managing Partner at Derwen).

*Contextual background:  *
Over the past year, the ACC's activities have been focused on various
science and technology topics that wrap around the transdisciplinary
pipeline connecting data to decisions.  These topics include ontologies,
natural language processing, data needs for near- and long-term land and
hazard management, soil morphology, aquatic nutrient pollution, wildfire
mitigation, wildfire response, and climate resilience.  Over the fall of
2020 and leading into 2021, we continue this transdisciplinary journey by
looking at the role that our community plays in applications related to the
Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).  Matthew's talk is directly relevant
to SDG Goal 2 ("Zero Hunger").
