[ESIP-all] ESIP Federation Winter Meeting Registration Now Open

The ESIP Federation Winter Meeting registration is now open.  Visit the
meeting page on our newly redesigned website at www.esipfed.org/events.
Additional meeting information (agenda, session descriptions and virtual
poster session template) will continue to be added in the coming weeks.
 
The new website is the first step of providing better service to you.
Eventually, the new website will be linked to the Earth Information
Exchange Portal through the thematic areas highlighted by the website.
The new website also will feature a membership management system where
each person connected to the ESIP Federation will have the ability to
subscribe to different communities within the ESIP web environment.  The
website will allow you to subscribe to committee happenings, listserves
and RSS feeds.  The full deployment of phase 2 of the website is
expected by January 1, 2007.
 
A link to the old website (now the archived site) will be available off
the new website in the coming days.  Governance information, partnership
applications and current discussions about goings-on within the ESIP
Federation are featured on our wiki at wiki.esipfed.org.
