fyi: Attached is the flyer of a planned special issue of IEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observations and Remote Sensing (IEEE JSTARS). The called-for paper topics listed in the flyer seem very related to what ESIP does.

Dear Bill,
It was really a great pleasure to meet you in the US and I sincerely hope
the things will work out in 2009.
I attached the flyer of our planned special issue in IEEE JSTARS. Both
IEEE and our funding agency agreed on the issue.
I would like to invite you or somebody of your group to write a paper to
this issue. In the flyer you read the topics that will be addressed in the
issue. The deadline is really tight but we are reasonable flexible on that
part (end of March is fine as well). Could you please indicate if your
group is interested to write a paper for this issue.
Thanks in advance
Best Regards
Richard
