The GLOBE meeting is not happening. Due to a lack of response, they've moved it to a 2-day virtual meeting. See the website. There may be a way to share ESIP-related material through the virtual meeting.

Greetings-
At the ESIP education committee meeting in Santa Barbara we identified
conferences that could be beneficial for ESIP representation and voted
to direct residual funds from the 2009 budget to support travel to these
conferences -
all we need now is an ESIP member to represent us!

If you are planning to attend the GLOBE conference in Calgary in August
or any of the regional NSTA conferences (Minneapolis in October, Fort
Lauderdale in November & Phoenix in December) we'd like to support your
travel, especially if you're presenting and can include an ESIP slide in
your presentation. We can afford to support 1 member at two different
conferences and will give priority to the GLOBE meeting.

Please reply to this e-mail if you're planning to attend one of these
conferences or considering attending and could be swayed by travel
support. We would very much like to support ESIP representation at these
education conferences.
Sincerely,
Margaret

Looking ahead to 2010, we'd appreciate and will underwrite travel for
ESIP members who present at NSTA conferences. The NSTA 2010 online
session proposal process opens in the fall for regional conferences in
Kansas City, Missouri (October 28-30), Baltimore, Maryland (November
11-13), and Nashville, Tennessee (December 2-4), as well as for NSTA's
2011 national conference in San Francisco, California.
