BRIEF SUMMARY:

An experienced Principal Investigator (contract manager) is needed to
provide leadership, supervision, and accountability for government
contract work in Salt Lake City, Utah. The position will be the main
interface with the federal contracting office representative, define
and assist managing tasks to successful completion, provide science
insight and direction, advise on technical approaches, outreach, user
community support, specify and execute standards and protocols,
maintain contract between government client and Innovim HQ, manage
staffing and budgets.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidate must have experience in environmental sciences, natural
resources, and familiar applying geospatial technologies and remotely
sensed data. Experience working within a task order process, with
governmental facility and staff.  Must be able to direct staff on
time-sensitive work.  Must have specific knowledge, skills and
abilities in contract management and experience in identifying
specific requirements to clarify work performance and work schedule
described for define specific Task Order (s).

Candidate must have 8+ years experience leading teams of scientists
and technicians on geospatially related research and applications.

Good communication skills and an ability to manage customer
expectations are needed.  Candidate must exhibit excellent abilities
to document, report and present project status, plans and outcomes.
Must represent published papers and past performance in related work.

Ability to respond to changing priorities and administer multiple,
simultaneous tasks is required.

A master’s or PhD degree in a related field or equivalent industry
experience is required.

Position is full-time, on-site in Salt Lake City, Utah.
