ESRI is hosting a Workshop on bridging the gaps between Remote Sensing and GIS for science applications. This Workshop will be held Nov 17-18 in Redlands, CA. The first day will feature breakout sessions by science application area to identify technical gaps that limit the full utilization of scientific remote sensing data within GIS environments. The second day will feature breakouts by technology solution areas that can help address these fundamental barriers. Participants are sought who can contribute to either problem identification or technical solution strategies.

The Workshop is free of charge, but attendance is by invitation only. However, if you send me a couple of sentences describing your interests and potential contributions to the topic, you will likely receive an "invitation to register". The Workshop web site is: http://www.esri.com/events/remote-sensing
