Hi All -

This e-mail is to request news story submissions from around the ESIP
Community for the December ESIP Newsletter to be published Dec. 12. News
stories could include: * Success stories from collaborations between ESIP
members
* Cluster/work group activities
* News about your projects or organizations
* News that may be of interest to our community

Since this will come out Sunday before AGU, if you know of relevant sessions
or activities please send those as well and there will be a list to
highlighting these AGU activities.  Please send submissions to me (
erinrobinson at esipfed.org) by Dec. 10.

If you have more time-sensitive news, the ESIP website
<http://esipfed.org/>now allows members logged in to create news
stories (+Story on the front
page). These stories are then published to the website front page as well as
automatically to the ESIP twitter account
<http://twitter.com/#!/ESIPFed>and Facebook
fan page<http://www.facebook.com/pages/Federation-of-Earth-Science-Information-Partners-ESIP/150015055044779>.
This could be a great way to highlight Federation activities in real time.
