Hi All -

Apologies for the delayed Monday Update. The big news in this update
is to *submit
sessions for the ESIP Winter
Meeting*<http://esipfed.org/Meeting%20Abstract%20Submission%20Form>.
Submit via the form on the
website<http://esipfed.org/Meeting%20Abstract%20Submission%20Form>and
submissions are
*due Oct. 21*, in order to set the agenda and allow time for meeting
participants to make travel arrangements.There are two types of sessions
breakouts and workshops.

   - At workshops, participants have hands-on interaction, such as
   demonstrations of how skills or ideas can be practically applied.
   - Breakout sessions are discussions or series of presentations on a
   specific topic or theme. Here is some guidance for breakout session

*Meeting Details: *
Theme: Connections Through Collaboration: Engaging Community Throughout the
Data Life Cycle.
Date: Jan 4-6, 2012
Location: Renaissance Washington D.C.  DuPont Circle Hotel
