A few quick items to mention this week:

1. We are so excited to announce the new Energy and Climate
Workgroup<http://wiki.esipfed.org/index.php/Energy_and_Climate>has
*two graduate student level
internships<http://wiki.esipfed.org/images/d/d3/Energy%26ClimateInternshipAnnouncement_rev.docx>
*are available (pending funding approval) to support the development of
their Dynamic Decision Tools Catalog – one with Drupal experience and
another with Semantic web experience. Duration ~ 6 months starting July
2012. *DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION: JUNE 25*

2. ESIP Summer Meeting
2012<http://wiki.esipfed.org/index.php/Summer_2012_Meeting>- The draft
agenda <http://wiki.esipfed.org/index.php/Summer_2012_Program> has been
posted for two months. This is the last week to make changes to sessions or
add any new content. Please review! Remember to register

hotel accommodations<http://wiki.esipfed.org/index.php/Summer_2012_Meeting#Hotels>.
Room blocks expire Friday, June 15.

3. NSF EarthCube
Charrette<http://earthcube.ning.com/page/june-12-charrette>- Virtual
participation is available and details can be found on the EarthCube
ning site <http://earthcube.ning.com/>.

4.  Sonoma Technology announces CitizenAir.Net is a place to openly
communicate, share, and collaborate on air quality monitoring by groups,
organizations, and government.  It provides a space for the exchange of
ideas related to air sensors, instruments, and applications among
developers, technologists, DIY'ers, artists, government officials,
professors, community organizers, and citizens. ****Get an account:
