Good Morning!

A relatively quiet week. We are a week out from the ESIP Summer
Meeting<http://wiki.esipfed.org/index.php/Summer_2012_Meeting>.
We have a near final
agenda<http://commons.esipfed.org/schedule/Summer%20Meeting%202012>and
terrific turn-out. It looks like we will go over the record 200 person
mark! Here are a few ways to get prepared:

   1. Register <http://commons.esipfed.org/node/436> - virtual or in
   person! If you register for virtual participation by Tuesday you will get a
   meeting water bottle.
   2. Respond to the

to
   prepare for the evaluation workshop, "Evaluating YOUR Data Management or

   3. Get familiar with "The Innovator's DNA <http://innovatorsdna.com/>"
   discovery skills - questioning, experimenting, observing, networking and
   associating (more on ESIP and

   )
   4. Start thinking of a FUNding Friday
idea<http://wiki.esipfed.org/index.php/FUNding_Friday_Projects>- $5k
seed money and travel to the Winter Meeting
   5. Reminder on pre-ESIP activities - Drupal
e-Lab<http://commons.esipfed.org/node/436>and DataOne
   User Group Meeting <http://www.dataone.org/dataone-users-group>

In other news - our first* Data Management Short Course Module*, "The Case

was posted. The team would love feedback as we prepare additional modules.
