Sorry for any cross postings-

The 2013 AGU Meeting of the America's Joint Assembly is being conducted in
Cancun Mexico, May 14-17, 2013. On behalf of the convenors of *ESSI IN03
"Considerations for Remote Computational Analysis on Peta-scale Archives" *,
please consider submitting your abstract *by Feb. 6th 2013*. Sorry for
short notice.
*
**This session will explore integration of computational modeling and
analysis capabilities into data archive centers (DACs) in the era of
exponential growth of climate and weather model output. Focus will be
placed on the evolution of DACs from the traditional data provider role to
the provision of web and computational services that minimize data
transport during the process of information generation. Presentations
exploring specific examples of the most requested data analysis
capabilities are sought. Papers will be sought to explore these analysis
capabilities and leading experts in climate and weather analysis will be
invited to provide requirements for scientific analysis in a distributed
computing environment.

 Please see http://moa.agu.org/2013/scientific-program/sessions/in03/ for
more information.
