Hi ESIP,

If you're going to be in Boulder next Wednesday and are free at 4:00, 
you are so lucky!  The Boulder Earth and Space Informatics Group is 
having a special event next Wednesday.  Andrew Collette, from LASP, will 
speak on

"Improving Science with Open Formats and High-Level Languages: Python 
and HDF5"

Andrew has just published a book, _Python and HDF5: Unlocking Scientific 
Data_, and will be giving away 50 copies.  Free stuff!  And, the HDF 
Group is providing some refreshments for us.  Free food!
