Friends and Colleagues,

Many of you know that I have been serving as the acting Program Executive for Earth Science Data Systems. Since Martha Maiden’s retirement on 28 February 2014, I along with Curt Tilmes, and the ESDIS Project management team have been maintaining the programs, projects, and processes that Martha created and led for many years.

NASA recently published in USA Jobs the open announcement for the permanent position of Program Executive for Earth Science Data Systems. This position is being advertised as either a GS-14 or GS-15 position. As such, there are two application URL links below, but there is only one position that is being filled. The announcement closes on Monday 7 July 2014. For additional information regarding duties and qualification criteria, as well as application procedures, please take the time to review the entire announcement at either link. Agency contact information is as follows:
Human Resources Management Division, HR Client Services Branch
Phone: 202-358-0180
