Hey Folks!  Abstracts are due today for the fall AGU meeting (which you know already, unless you’ve been living under a rock)!  Here is a link to a session on data facilities (IN014: Earth and Space Science Data Facilities in a Big Data World) I am co-convening with Danie Kinkade of WHOI and Veronica Guidetti of ESA:

As you can see, we already have NSIDC, GEOSS, NODC, NESDIS/GEARS, ASF, Copernicus, NASA’s EOSDIS, NASA CCMC, CDDIS, and BCO-DMO.  EarthCube’s Council of Data Facilities  will be submitting later today…   this is going to be an AWESOME session full of A-list presentations!  But the A-list is not complete without your contribution so submit an abstract now.  Rumor has it there will be paparazzi, red carpets, and a host of Hollywood reporters...  Don’t miss out on the glamor and excitement!

And remember, submissions close today!  The new submission process was quite smooth in my experience, but I suspect the web site will be a little slower to respond today with the mad rush to beat the deadline. So, delay no further!
