Dear Colleagues:

We would like to bring to your attention the following Global Environmental
Change Session at the 2015 Fall AGU Meeting to be held in San Francisco,
CA, December 14-18:

*Session ID: 9172*

*Session Title: Novel Use of New Technologies for Decision Making*

In the recent years, unprecedented access to mobile computing, inexpensive
plug-and-play sensor systems, wireless connectivity and drone technologies
is enabling novel methodologies for decision making. Examples include use
of mobile devices to deliver severe weather warning, feedback from general
public back to decision makers during severe weather events, use of
inexpensive wireless sensor networks to forecast solar energy production,
inferring movement of human population through cell phone signals, fusion
of data from new technologies with models and remotely sensed data for
improved decision making. This session solicits presentations about
innovative use of new and emerging technologies for decision making in in
the areas of weather, climate, hydrology, air pollution and agriculture.
