Speakers provided real experiences on how Earth science data analytics (ESDA) is applied, skills needed to have ESDA applied, and developing curriculums for students who will perform ESDA applications, in the future.

Defining ESDA Types are important to better identify specific needs that ESDA tools/techniques can be developed for.  Much progress was made in refining the ESDA definition and ESDA Types. 18 use cases were utilized to validate ESDA types..  Additional review and use cases needed before presenting them to the ESIP community.
