DESCRIPTION
Planet3 is an exploration-based learning company that presents the entire Earth as a living laboratory. Empowering student curiosity and achievement, Planet3 targets Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) subjects. Its digital learning platform uniquely combines immersive game-based environments, real-world context, and standards-based curriculum to promote better learning outcomes.
We are seeking a visionary Earth Scientist who is an expert at utilizing remote sensing and other data to tell stories about global change and help relate them to basic STEAM education for a new K-12 exploration-based learning platform built around the Next Generation Science Standards. The applicant will work with Planet3's hyper-connected platform to enable students to explore up-to-date Earth system data, and to participate in citizen science projects monitoring global change and ecosystem dynamics.
