All,
On April 1, 2016, the LP DAAC began distributing Terra ASTER Level 1
Precision Terrain Corrected Registered At-Sensor Radiance (L1T) data
and Reconstructed Unprocessed Instrument Data (AST_L1A) products over the
entire globe at no charge. Also available, at no charge, is on-demand
higher- level processing (e.g., Surface Reflectance, Surface Radiance,
Surface Kinetic Temperature, etc.) of AST_L1A products.
To provide the public with additional information about the characteristics
of ASTER data products, how ASTER data can be used in scientific
applications, and how ASTER data can be accessed, the LP DAAC will be
giving a webinar as part of the NASA Earthdata Webinar series on Tuesday,
May 3 at 1 pm ET. The webinar is entitled "View from NASA Terra's Zoom
Lens: All About the ASTER Sensor." More information about the webinar and
how to register can be found here
