Session Description:
NASA and other agencies play an essential role in Education and Communication to inspire, engage and educate. The remarkable science discoveries, knowledge, and research are shared with audiences through a variety of technologies such as web portals, mobile apps, citizen science/crowdsourcing applications, and the serving of NASA data as commodities for use by advanced visualization facilities including planetariums.  This contributes to improving teaching and learning, increasing scientific literacy of the general public, and enriching STEM efforts. This session seeks talks and demonstrations that: Describe existing capabilities, technologies, tools and facilities that contribute to Education and Communication; exciting projects and programs in development; and what other awesome technology ideas that will greatly benefit Education and Communication, and STEM.
