[ESIP-all] ESIP & Google Summer of Code

Hello all -

ESIP is applying to be a mentoring organization for 2018 Google Summer of
Code <https://summerofcode.withgoogle.com/>. Not familiar with GSoC? Find
out how it works here <https://summerofcode.withgoogle.com/how-it-works/>.

As a mentoring organization, ESIP will provide the project ideas for
students to work on. In our case, we are looking for those ideas from *you*,
the ESIP community.

So, if you have an idea, and would be excited to mentor a student this
summer, add it as an issue to the ESIP GSoC idea page
<https://github.com/ESIPFed/GSoC/issues>. There are already a few ideas
posted if you need some inspiration.
