The AGU Fall Meeting 2018 to be held in Washington 10-14th Dec. This is a
reminder that the call for sessions is now open until 18th April - you can
use this link to see what has already been submitted

https://agu.confex.com/agu/fm18/preliminaryview.cgi/Program1682

You may wish to consider alternative sessions; this includes e-lightning
sessions - these are interactive posters (which are ideal for ESSI themes) and
last year ESSI had the most (with 1 or 2 sessions each day), or a panel
session.

There are few changes to the rules this year - so please remember these
when submitting

1. "Conveners are allowed to submit abstracts to their own session
but are NOT allowed to be invited authors and cannot be scheduled as an
oral presentation in their own session." (https://fallmeeting.agu.org/
2018/sessi
<https://fallmeeting.agu.org/2018/session-proposals/invited-authors/>
on-proposals/invited-authors/ )

2. No more than 3 panels will be accepted by ESSI.

This year the ESSI Programme Committee team comprises Jane Hart (Chair),
Lesley Wyborn, Mark Parsons and Jens Klump. Please contact me (
jhart at soton.ac.uk) if you have any queries.

Best wishes

jane
