Subject: NEXT WEEK - National Innovation Center (NIC) Seminar - Current and
Emerging Observation Capabilities with Maxar (DigitalGlobe)

Dear Colleagues,

Please join us next *Thursday, September 17 @ 10:30 am (PDT)* for the next
NIC seminar where Scott Brunton of Maxar (DigitalGlobe) will be discussing
Current and Emerging Observation Capabilities with Maxar - From Imagery to
Insights. Maxar is a trusted partner and innovator in Earth Intelligence
and Space Infrastructure. They deliver disruptive value to government and
commercial customers to help them monitor, understand and navigate our
changing planet. Maxar’s partnership with the US Federal Government spans
well over a decade, bringing the highest resolution commercial imagery to
over 300,000 federal users. A lot has changed since the first IKONOS
satellite and more is coming in 2021 with the next-generation WorldView
Legion constellation – tripling our 30cm collection capacity. This talk is
aimed at providing an update on Maxar’s Space and Earth Intelligence
capabilities; review government user access/entitlements through the
EnhancedView Web Hosting Services; and highlight advances in
satellite-derived products and AI/ML.

*Speaker:* Scott Brunton is the Sr Director, US Government Programs at
Maxar. He has over 23 years supporting various federal missions across
civilian, DoD and IC. He found his passion for all things geospatial as a
developer coding ArcView 3 epidemiological extensions and early IMS web
maps for the National Cancer Institute and US Forest Service – publishing
and presenting multiple papers at Esri and industry events. Also supporting
the talk will be Christina Geller – Maxar Product Manager, Analytic
Portfolio (discussing Maxar’s new analytic ready data supporting AI/ML
workflows) and Ronnie Gray – US Federal Senior Solution Engineer.
