SMD will be releasing a USAJOBS announcement to fill multiple Program Executive GS-801-14/15 positions across the directorate.

This will be a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) announcement and it will only be open for 3 business days (5 calendar days). The short timeframe is due to the type of hiring authority, which streamlines the hiring process and assists with rapidly filling competitive positions .

The announcement opens February 26 and closes on March 2. The USAJOBS announcement number will be HQ-21-DE-11036091-JK

Also, given the short period the announcement is open, it is a good idea to log into USAJOBS before and update your username, password, resume, etc., to facilitate the timely submission of an application. All official documents, including transcripts, are now required to be submitted upfront as part of your application before the announcement closes.  If you don’t have a copy of your transcripts handy, now might be a good time to request them.
