Summer is finally here - which means the ESIP Summer Meeting is just around
the corner! Have you registered yet? *The deadline for Early registration

For more than 20 years, ESIP <https://www.esipfed.org/> meetings have
brought together the most innovative thinkers and leaders around Earth
science data, forming a community dedicated to making these data more
discoverable, accessible and useful to researchers, practitioners,
policymakers, and the public.

This summer’s meeting is sure to be one of the best yet! The theme
will be “Leading
Innovation in Earth Science Data Frontiers.”This year’s meeting is made
possible with support from Microsoft, Esri, and Element 84, as well as
support from our agency partners NASA, NOAA, and USGS.

There will be something for everyone and numerous ways for you to share
your work and collaborate with others:


   -

   ~40 Community-Contributed Breakout Sessions & Workshops: jump in to
   learn and collaborate with others on numerous topics, including
   geospatial data stewardship, data management geosemantics, cloud computing,
   AI/ML, and more.
   -

   3 Plenary Sessions, including:
   -

      X-informatics - Lessons Learned from Data and Information in Research
      (in honor of Dr. Peter Fox)
      -

      Frontiers of Exploration & Data Management on Mars
      -

      Innovate at ESIP: storytelling + elevator pitch from researchers in
      front of a panel of tech experts.
      -

   FUNding Friday: take part in this fast-paced mini-grant competition

   Research Showcase: share your work through virtual posters, brief
