[ESIP-all] ESILP Labs Seed Funding to Fruition

Hello there ESIPers -

Based upon work initiated and funded by 2019 ESIP Labs Seed Grant, Andrew Mullen will be defending his thesis:

An operational methodology for validating satellite-based snow albedo measurements using a UAV

Next Tuesday at 9AM Mountain (details below).

The work was also funded by the USGS Innovation Center and Montana NASA EPSCoR. Andrew did an awesome job on the project, had an internship at NASA Jet Propulsion Lab this summer, and has already started as a research scientist at Woodwell Climate Research Center (formerly Wood’s Hole).
