Basically, here is what it involves:


  *   Provide support to project management in the monitoring of the day-to-day activities of the program ensuring the smooth transitions of the purchased evaluated data to sustained long term use and dissemination.
  *   Provide support for Earth Science Data and Information System (ESDIS) Project initiatives to advance the planning, direction, and communication of Project strategies with respect to NASA's commercial data.
  *   Propose innovative and alternative solutions to resolve Project issues.
  *   Perform technical analyses and recommend process improvements.
  *   Ensure NASA and Goddard Space Flight Center system engineering and management standards are adhered to.
  *   Prepare Commercial Smallsat Data Acquisition (CSDA) documentation including change requests to controlled documents, participate in working groups/teams as a contributor/facilitator, and propose material to enhance communication of objectives.
  *   Coordinate among large number of stakeholder groups across the Agency and EOSDIS to plan, design, implement, and maintain long term data stewardship solution for NASA's commercial data.
  *   May require some travel to domestic locations in support of the Project.
