We have organized the following session, Earth Science Data and Information: Meeting user’s needs to amplify multidisciplinary science and support actionable information, and invite you to submit an abstract for this session.

Session Description:
Multidisciplinary science plays a pivotal role in understanding changes to our planet's climate and environment.  Government agencies and the private sector are rapidly designing strategies to increase access for all stakeholders to the scientifically robust archives of data needed to inform positive Earth action.
The purpose of this session is two-fold.  First, it will provide an opportunity for data providers to share how their work is supporting multidisciplinary user needs. Second, it will present an opportunity for users employing multidisciplinary approaches to share their successes and challenges in using the extensive archives of data, highlight existing gaps, and propose opportunities for future improvement. Presenters will share examples of how they are informing urgent, often novel, research and decision making by employing multidisciplinary science using Earth science data, tools, and services.  By providing opportunities for feedback from both data providers and data users, this session will inform what's next for science.
