[ESIP-all] NSF job opening: Geosciences, data, and computing (rotator)

Dear colleagues,

The NSF Directorate for Geosciences (GEO) is looking for experts in data science methods and geoscience applications to fill the role of Program Director in its Division of Research, Innovation, Synergies, and Education<https://www.nsf.gov/news/news_summ.jsp?cntn_id=310351&org=RISE&from=news>. The Program Director would co-manage an evolving set of programs supporting the advancement of computer-assisted geosciences research, open science practices, and data science education. The incumbent would be part of the GEO CI working group, composed of Program Directors from across GEO and the Office of Advanced Cyberinfrastructure (OAC), which work together to develop and manage new and existing funding programs and to guide long-term strategic planning at the intersection of computing, data, and the geosciences. The incumbent would proactively communicate with the GEO research community about the GEO CI Incubator and related funding opportunities.
