We plan to discuss what the CDF session at the ESIP summer meeting
should look like as session submissions are due May 8th before our next
meeting.

The rest of the meeting time is currently open. We have created a list
of possible
topics

you are welcome to add to and/or vote for. If anyone has a topic they are
interested in presenting at the next meeting, please let us know and we
would be happy to have you (njarboe at earthref.org).

If you would like to present on some of the more popular topics those are:

Best practices/success stories for encouraging data citations and tracking
for usage reporting.

Presentations about federally supported cyberinfrastructure potentially
available to data facilities: cloud storage, HPC, etc resources.

Presentation from WDS (World Data System) on their recent review of
strategic plans and technical roadmaps of WDS members, which had the goal
of identifying needs and challenges, as well as testing their
organizational assessment methods.
