[Esip-cdf] CDF meeting next week Wednesday 12 noon PDT/3pm EDT

Dear CDF members,

Our monthly meeting is next Wednesday. Meredith Goins from WDS (World Data
System) will present on their recent review of strategic plans and
technical roadmaps of WDS members, which had the goal of identifying needs
and challenges, as well as testing their organizational assessment methods.

We will also spend a bit of time discussing the CDF Session at the ESIP
meeting and if we want to coordinate on a very specific topic for the
talks. The session title is:
Data Facilities and Data Quality: Methods of Data Acquisition, Metadata
Requirements, Controlled Vocabularies, Validation and Data Review

We have Matt Jones, Corinna Gries, Robert Downs, Chris Jenkins, Chris
Crosby, Danie Kinkade currently scheduled as speakers for 5 minute
lightning talks.
