cheers,

Mark Parsons,

I'm Jocelyn Elya and I'm the chair of the Marine Data Cluster in ESIP. We met at the ESIP Winter Meeting in January. My co-chair Carolina and I enjoyed your lightning talk on the Research Object Citation Cluster during the ESIP Collaboration Area Highlights Webinar last month!

We're reaching out to a small handful of clusters/committees that we think have the best potential for collaboration with the Marine Data Cluster. Hopefully, by hosting our own mini-version of the Highlights Webinar during one of our calls, we can:
1. introduce your cluster to our cluster members (and vice versa - you're welcome to invite your cluster to the call!)
2. give our members a heads-up about interesting sessions coming up at the ESIP Summer Meeting (we'd love to hear about your "Data Citations: What Makes a Good Citation?" session!)

During our 1-hour cluster call on July 11 (the week before the Summer Meeting) at 1:30 pm Eastern, we're envisioning each collaboration area would have 8-10 minutes to present (longer than the previous lightning talks). Let me know if you'd like to participate! I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

Jocelyn Elya
