Description:
Web-based environmental decision support systems (EDSS) provide a social-learning infrastructure for integrating diverse knowledge and interests related to water resources management. The advent of cloud computing is expected to revolutionize the design, development, and deployment of the future generation of EDSS. This session welcomes contributions that demonstrate the novel use of cloud-computing, including but not limited to methodologies and tools for enabling online decision support models, visual analytics, and cloud-based uncertainty quantification and sensitivity analyses. Contributions that fuse participatory social learning into the decision making processes are also welcome.
