<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#212121">Participants of recent COPDESS meetings have emphasized the need to find ways of engaging with and informing editors of Earth and space science journals, particularly of the small society publishers, to better
support the implementation of author guidelines pertaining to FAIR data and to understand the obstacles for editors and authors to comply. This will be the focus of this Splinter Meeting and we’re hoping to have good representation from editors in the Earth,
space, and environmental sciences there. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
