[Esip-discovery] FW: Dataset Search launched!

Hi Folks,
See below for Google's announcement today of their new Dataset Search product.
Several folks, at several institutions over a course of several years have worked towards advancing the open standards and initiatives which ultimately enable federated search across Earth Science datasets as can be seen in this product.
Hats off to everyone who contributed in some form or another. I personally feel that this is a major step forward and endorsement for the ESSI field.
