Hi all,

Thanks for a most useful call!  Earlier today, a friend of mine forwarded
to me an announcement about a NOAA NESDIS community workshop on
geostationary satellite data needs for fire, weather, ag, and human health
applications.  The workshop is aimed at getting input from stakeholders.
Perhaps the people whom you work with will benefit from attending one of
the workshops.  The fire workshop starts next week.
