[Esip-documentation] ACDD status

Because products and observational data sets can both use a 'version
date' - I wonder if product_version is too limiting a term. Is it meant to
apply to obs data too, and if so, what would it mean?

The concept of a 'data version date' is supposed to be covered by one of
the other dates in the ACDD spec, isn't it? Or is this a case where a
dataset or
product with a newer 'data version date' might have an older 'product
version'?

Sorry, I'm just having a little trouble understanding this as a general
purpose
term.
